Utilizing a turbine design instead of a free-running propeller, the Power-Save Wind Turbine is able to provide customers with more than 2.5-times the yield than conventional wind power generators. This substantial increase in output power results mainly from the fact that the airfoil-shaped diffuser, which has a "flower-flap" ring added to its trailing edge, accelerates wind flow substantially. In addition, there is only a very small gap between the rotor and the diffuser so that wind energy cannot "escape".
